Troppo lento

Fabiano totally delivers, from his entry into the Met Finalists to this amazing performer. What an accomplished tenor! Never mind that Met Opera is open to exploring more settings for operas over a hundred years old: I applaud it is willing to venture into new territory in an effort to bringing the greatest music into our world. It is preserving our musical heritage: let it experiment, and let it be traditional: with the culture of distraction today, the Met needs to do anything and everything to survive our rich heritage of opera.

Another great opera ruined

Tremendous performance. I saw her in this Met Butterfly yesterday and she is just.. perfect. Asmik Grigorian shines like a perfectly polished diamond in this production.

Just saw him and Liudmyla Monastyrska in the recent Met production (via PBS). These are two mature artists in their prime and it was their artistry that made me enjoy this opera greatly. Mr. Gagnidze sang this particular aria so expressively that I was moved to tears. Bravo!

La voce è gradevole all'ascolto. Peccato per la dizione troppo americana e non sempre comprensibile. Le ci vorrebbe un buon maestro di italiano.
